Plico Design Studio are experienced Heritage Architects, and thrive on working with clients to bring their aspirations to life whilst respecting the heritage context of the site.
Our clients’s property was originally designed by Architect Howard Ratcliff Lawson at the turn of the 20th century, and modified several times throughout its history.
They wished to extend their residence to occupy the former balcony at the front of the property, to include bedroom, ensuite and study spaces.
Our design was to respect the original form of the building, through an extension that sits on top of the present façade, providing a complementary addition with pitched roof form that integrates into the streetscape.
