We are pleased to have completed the expansion of the Banksia Medical Centre in Geelong for our valued clients.The project extends the original scallop-shaped 1980s building, with internal works focused on reconfiguring the reception area to create a clearer connection and improved flow into the new extension.
The delivery required careful coordination, balancing the budget specifics, flood protection requirements, multiple design changes, and construction works undertaken while ensuring the clinic remained fully operational.Externally, a cladding system of James Hardie AU cement sheet on battens provides a contemporary layer that complements the original brickwork of the clinic. Internally, a calm and durable palette of Laminex Australia joinery, Dulux – Commercial & Residential wall and ceiling colours, and Forbo Group vinyl flooring supports medical compliance while creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
