Adeney Street Yarraville Residential Hero

Our Adeney Street Yarraville Residential is an Inter-War Brick Cottage built in the 1940s, that Plico Design Studio transformed into a contemporary family home priorising connection to landscape, natural light and open spaces, for our clients with a young family.

This considered transformation enhances the original home whilst creating a more open, efficient and welcoming environment for contemporary family life.

Collaborating with Interior Designers Studio Doherty and our fantastic clients Brave Studios, the design resolves around a simple timber-clad form that balances strong street presence with respectful connection to the existing brick dwelling, opening generously to the garden.

Material layering of timber, breeze block and concrete, unifies old and new, while refined planning supports both shared and private living.

We’re delighted with the cohesive design across Architecture, Interiors and Landscape.
